Therapeutic Massage Technique
Providing
effective, thoughtful, and specific massage, by combining Swedish and
Deep Tissue Massage. Beginning with a series of long, slow, deep
strokes while working with the breath to increase circulation, ease
muscle tension and stress, promoting an overall feeling of relaxation.
Continuing to work into the deeper layers of the muscles to
affect the structural integrity of the body’s musculature, by
eliminating trigger points, restrictions, and imbalances in the body
dynamics.
About Jessica
Jessica
Graduated from New York College of Health Professions in Syosset, NY in
2008 with an Associate of Science Degree in Massage Therapy. She
is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and is
Nationally Certified, as well as licensed both in New York and
Massachusetts. Health and wellness are an important part of her
life. Besides being a Licensed Massage Therapist, Jessica is also
a Registered Yoga Instructor. She began her practice in 2002
while attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She
loved what it did for her mind-body connection and decided to pursue
the study of Yoga. In 2005 she became a Certified Hatha Yoga
Teacher and has been registered with the Yoga
Alliance since 2007. Her joy of working with children
inspired her to concentrate on providing yoga for
children. This led to her certification as a Yoga
Rocks! Kids Teacher in 2007. Jessica truly enjoys bringing
positivity and healing into people's lives. She finds the
transformation from a client's stressful and often painful arrival to a
relaxed, relieved, and light exit extremely gratifying.
